Support Our Troops - Bring Them Home

Word is that President Obama will send 34,000 more troops to Afghanistan. As a follower of Jesus (or at least as someone who tries to follow Jesus) I can't reconcile his words, "Blessed are the peacemakers," with sending more troops to Afghanistan. I hope and pray that President Obama will bring our troops home from both Iraq and Afghanistan sooner rather than later. Afghanistan was another Vietnam for Russia a few years ago. Will it be for us as well?
